STAR Online Safety for Primary Teachers

This is a four-week, self-paced course for primary-school teachers and facilitators working with 3rd–6th Class pupils.

The course is organised around the four STAR themes:
Stay Safe, Think Smart, Ask for Help, and Reach Out and Be Kind.

Each weekly unit includes a Rise lesson, an official Barnardos STAR video, knowledge checks, a Canvas discussion, and selected classroom or teacher-support resources.

Core weekly lesson time is approximately 15 minutes, excluding discussion and optional extension activities.
